50 Greatest Indy’s | 41. Dead Man’s Shoes

Dead Man’s Shoes is a British thriller that really grabbed my attention.  I am not a fan of British cinema, but the story told was so intriguing I was hooked.

This follows a soldier home from war and reconnecting with his brother.  His brother starts to tell him about all the abuse that a local gang has been giving him and the soldier, Mark, vows to get his revenge on him.  Through many twists and turns of this  movie, one thing is clear, British cinema has its place in this world.  Albeit it small and not too much, but it has a place.

This is a great thriller and has some gore, so beware, but it tells a great story.  If you get the chance to see this, I suggest it

Dead Man’s Shoes: 7.9/10
