Blade Runner 2049 Trailer Has Dropped and Oh Boy!

A few minutes ago, the newest and most footage heavy trailer for the sequel to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049, was released and wow is all I have to say. I will admit that while I do really like Blade Runner, it didn’t do for me what I thought it would. Now I will also admit that I’ve only seen the theatrical cut and I’ve heard the final cut is truly marvelous and I will be seeing that very very soon.

So unlike the first teaser, we get a lot of really good shots and more idea about what the plot is while still holding back so much, something a majority of trailers seem to forget nowadays. Jared Leto opens up the trailer and looks like he will be the villain of the film and I couldn’t be happier. Jared Leto always gives 110% in his performances, even in Suicide Squad, which while a very underwhelming movie, he still shined.

This sequel looks to be a lot more action packed and the action looks to be stunning. I hope we get a badass chase scene between Gosling and an android because that will be amazing to witness.

I’m a huge Ryan Gosling fan and seeing that he looks to be the ultimate badass cop makes me so ready for this movie. Him and Harrison Ford AKA Deckard sharing the screen is going to be the highlight of this film, I can already tell you. The other highlight is going to be the absolutely breathtaking cinematography that is on display here. I audibly said to myself “Woah” at least 10 times in this trailer. Roger Deakins, you truly are a master and we don’t deserve you.

Blade Runner 2049 releases October 6th and you bet my butt will be in a seat after this trailer. Denis Villenueve, Roger Deakins, Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, DAVE BAUTISTA!!! It’ll sure be a treat.
